Marriage Bond
Vernon Parish Louisiana
September 4, 1909

State Of Louisiana
Parish of Vernon, Know all Men by the Presents,
That We, S.B. Buxton as principal, and Robert Johnson as surety, are held
and firmly bound unto Jared J. Sanders Governor of the State of Louisiana,
and unto his successors in office, in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars, for
the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we hereby bind ourselves,
heirs and assigns, firmly by these presents.
Dated and signed at Leesville, Louisiana, on this 21 day of July, 1907.
The Conditions of the above and foregoing obligation as such, that whereas
the above principal has this day obtained from the Clerk of the District
Court a Special License to contract marriage with M.
Now, should there exist no legal impediment to said marriage, then this bond
to be null and void; otherwise of full force and effect in law.

That by virtue of a License issued by the Clerk of the District Court of Vernon
Parish, Louisiana, I have Celebrated Marriage between Mr. S.B. Buxton and Miss
Helen Bass and have joined them together in Holy Wedlock to law, this the 21 day
of July 1909.
