McCullough Marriage Bond and Certificate State of Louisiana Parish of Vernon Be it Known, That we J.R. Crosby, as principal and E.M. Braack, as security are held and firmly bound unto Murphy J. Foster, Govenor of the State of Louisiana and unto his successors in Office, in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars, for the payment of which well and truly to be made we hereby bind ourselves, our heirs and assigns firmly by these presents. Dated and signed at Leesville, La. this the 23rd day of November 1897. The conditions of the above and foregoing obligation are such that whereas the above bounded principal has this day obtained from the Clerk of the District Court, a special License to contract marriage with Miss J.A.
