Fletcher Marriage Bond and Certificate State of Louisiana Parish of Vernon Know all men by these presents that we Ira M. Davis as prinicipal and T.M. Evans as security are held firmly bound unto Murphy J Foster, Governor of the State of Louisiana and unto his successors in office in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars for the payment of which well and truly to be made we hereby bind ourselves, heirs and assigns firmly by these presents. Dated and signed at Leesville La this 31st day of Dec. 1894. The conditions of the forgoing obligation are such that whereas the above principal has this day obtained from me, Clerk of District Court a special license to contract marriage with Miss Sarah E. Fletcher. Should there exist no legal impediment to said marriage then this bond to be null and void, or else to remainin full force in law. Witnesses Ira M. Davis Z.T. Craft T.M.
