Davis and Elizabeth Smith Marriage Bond and Marriage Certificate State of Louisiana Parish of Vernon Know all men by these presents that we Charles C. Davis as principal and SW McAlpin as surety acknowledge it over and be indeted to the Gov. of Louisiana and his Successors in office in the just and full sum of Five hundred dollars for the payment of which we bind ourselves our heirs and administrators firmly and in Solido. Dated at Leesville La. This Dec. 26th 1891. Now the conditions of this obligation are such that wereas the above bounded principal has this day obtained from the Clerk of Dist. Court a License to marry Miss Elizabeth Smith now should there exist no legal imprediment to this marriage then this obligation to be null and void. otherwise to remain in full force and virtue Witness Chas C.
