Davis and Mollie Perkins Marriage Certificate - Oct 1890 The State of Louisiana Parish of Vernon Know all men by these present that we F.M. Davis as principal and R.A. Davis as security acknowledge to owe and tobe indebted unto the Governor of the State of Louisiana or his successors in office, in the sum of Five hundred Dollars the payment of which well and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs and assigns firmly by these presents. Dated at Leesville Vernon Parish Louisiana on this 30th day of Oct 1890. The considerations of the above obligation are such whereas-the above principal has this day obtained of the Clerk of Dist Court a license to marry Miss Mollie L. Perkins now should there exist no legal impediment to said marriage then this Bond to be null and void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
