Johnson and Miss Martha Howard Bond and Process Verbal of Marriage State of Louisiana Parish of Vernon Know all men by these presents that we J.J. Johnson as principal and Gentry Johnson as security are held firmly bound unto Murphy J. Foster, Governor of Louisiana and unto his successors in office in the full sum of Five hundred Dollars for the payment of whichwell and truly to be made we hereby bind ourselves, heirs and assigns firmly by those presents. Dated and signed at Leesville La. this 29th day Jany 1900. Now the condition of the above bond are such that whereas the above principal has this day obtained from the Clerk of the Dist Court a special License to contract marriage with Miss Martha Howard.
