Gabriel Martin and P McCullough Marriage Bond
State of Louisiana
Parish of Vernon
Know all men by these present that we Gabriel Martin as principal and John 
J Pickering as surety are held firmly bound unto Murphy J Foster Gov. of
La. and his successors in office in the just and full sum of Five hundred 
Dollars Lawful money of the U.S. for the payment of which well and truly
to be made we bind ourselves firmly and in Sahid? by these presents.
Dated and signed at Leesville La. this the7th day of Sept. 1893.

Now the conditions of the foregoing obligation are such that whereas the
above bound principal has this day obtained from the Clerk of Dist. Court
a special License to contract marriage with Miss Penellope McCollough
Now should these exist no legal impediment to this marriage this obligation
to be null and void, otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue
in Law.
