Davis Marriage Bond and Marriage Certificate State of Louisiana Parish of Vernon Know all men by these presents that we J.M. Martin as principal and T.A. Bolgiano as security acknowledge to give and to be indebted unto the Governor of the State of Louisiana or his successors in office in the sum of Five hundred dollars the payment of which well and truly to be made we bind ourselves, our heirs and assigns firmly by these presents. Dated at Leesville Vernon Parish La. on this 18 day of April 1892. The conditions of this obligation are such that whereas the above principal has this day obtained of the Clerk of District Court a License to marry Miss Sarah C.A. Davis. Now should there exist no legal impediment to said marriage then this Bond to be null and void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
