McCullough and Clemontine Maddox - Marriage Bond 1896 State of Louisiana Parish of Vernon Know all men by these presents that we Z.D. McCullough as principal and and James McCullough as security are held firmly bound unto Murphy J. Foster, Governor of the State of Louisiana and unto his successors in Office in the sum of Five hundred Dollars for the payment of which well and truly to be made we hereby bind ourselves our heirs and assigns firmly by these presents. Dated and signed at Leesville La this 24th 1896 The condition of the foregoing obligation are such that whereas the above bounden principal has this day obtained from the clerk of the Dist Court a special llicense to contract marriage with Miss Clementine Maddox.
