Rapides Parish, LA.
September 15, 1880

STATE OF LOUISIANA
PARISH OF RAPIDES

Be it remembered that on the 15th day of September, Mr. J. Perry
and Miss Louisiana Nelson personally appeared before me M. Smith
Minister in and for the Parish of Rapides, together with J. Perry,
Z. Nelson, L.A. Smith, all witnesses of full age and residents in
the said Parish, and then and there the said Mr. J. Perry and Miss
Louisiana Nelson having produced the License required by law 
signified their desire and intention, before us the said Minister
and witnesses to be united in the State of Matrimony, whereupon,
after due proclamation made, and no impediment being suggested they
the said Mr. J. Perry and Miss Louisiana Nelson were by the said
Minister in the presence of said witnesses, joined in wedlock
according to the laws of the State of Louisiana and by me the said
Minister duly pronounced to be Husband and wife. In testimony
whereof the parties of the said Marriage hereunto affix their
signature together with me the said Minister and the aforesaid
witnesses on this 15th day of Sept 1880 at Rapides Parish La.
