Phillips as principal and Cavil Bray as security are held firmly bound unto Murphy J. Foster, Governor of the State of Louisiana and unto his successors in office in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars for the payment of which well and truly to be made we hereby bind ourselves heirs and assigns firmly by these presents - Dated and signed at Leesville La, this 19th day of Dec 1894 The conditions of the foregoing obligation as such that whereas the above principal has this day obtained from the clerk of the District Court a special license to contract marriage with Miss M.E.
