Davis Marriage Bond State of Louisiana Parish of Vernon Know all men by these presents that we C.C. O'Quin as prinicpal and Thomas Davis as security acknowledge to owe and to be in debted unto the Government of the State of Louisiana or his successors in office in the sum of Five hundred dollars the payment of which well and truly bind ourselves our heirs and assigns firmly by these presents. Dated at Leesville Vernon Parish La. on this 14th day of August 1891. The conditions of this obligation are such that whereas the above principal has this day obtained of the Clerk of District Court a license to marry Miss S.J. Davis. Now should there exist no legal impediment to said marriage then this Bond to be null and void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
