Marriage License of William Wise and Cintha Hunt

To N.H. Bray, Parish Judge or any other person legally authorized to 
celebrate marriages in Vernon Parish. 
Greetings!!! 

You are hereby licensed, authorized and permitted to unite in the binds [sic] 
of matrimony, Mr. William Wise and Miss Cintha C. Hunt. Given under my hand 
and seal of office this 30th day of March 1872.

Personaly appeared before me, A.W. Jackson, a Justis of the Peace in and 
for said parish on the 18 day of April 1872, Mr. William Wise and 
Miss Cintha C. Hunt and signified there desires to be united in the bonds 
of matrimony by presenting the license required by law and were by me the 
A.W. Jackson joined together in the bonds of matrimony and by me pronounced 
to be husband and wife.
