Heard Governor of the State of Louisiana, and unto his successors in office, in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars for the payment of which well and truly to be made, we hereby bind ourselves; heirs and assigns, firmly by these presents. Dated and signed at Leesville Louisiana on this 18th day of September 1900. The conditions of the above and foregoing obligation are such that whereas the above principalhas this day obtained from the Clerk of the District Court a special license to contract marriage with Miss Lora Davis. Now, should there exist no legal impediment said marriage then this bond to be null and void otherwise of full force and effect in law.
