McCOLLOUGH TO HIS WIFE MARY OLIVE McCOLLOUGH LAST WILL & TESTAMENT STATE OF LOUISIANA } PARISH OF VERNON} BEFORE ME James Cavanaugh, a Notary Public duly commissioned and sworn in and for Vernon Parish, and State aforesaid, personally came and appeared James B. McCollough, of said State of Louisiana and Parish of Vernon, who declared and said that I, James B. McCollough, being of sound mind proper discretion do make, ordain, constitute and establish this my last will, and testament and also revoke all former wills or parts of wills,codicils or testaments made by me whatever. 1st. I give unto my beloved wife, Mary Olive McCollough, Four Hundred and twelve Dollars, to be paid and taken out of my present or future estate, the said four hundred and twelve Dollars being the amount received out and from my mothers estate, and I further desire and will that the above four hundred Dollars shall be paid to the said Mary Olive McCollough, out of any land, houses, tenements, rights or credits that I have or may have at any time present or future. This done & passed at my office in the town of Leesville, Vernon Parish, Louisiana, in presence of Thos. J. Davis and W. T. Youngblood, and Thos. C. Wingate all legal witnesses, who sign these presents together with the said appearer and me said Notary without turning to other matters whatever, on this the 8th day of Sept. A. D. 1896.
