Sylvest Bible
         
Original Owner:  Joseph Emanuel Sylvest.
Present Owner: Mrs. Evie Fussell - Franklinton, IA.
Copied:  March 9, 1963 by Mrs. R. A. Magee, Franklinton, IA.
         
It is a large Alter size Bible and not in very good condition.  The story goes
that the Bible was blown away with the house and other furnishings in 1907 or
1908 by a cyclone, and was found some time later soaking wet and quite a
dietance from the original site of the house.  Date of publication not         
visible.
