Magee Cemetery (Mississippi) Location: Walthall County, Miss., about one mile west of Mesa, just south of the Highway from McComb to Tylertown Copied: March 1958 by Mrs. Ed.Simmons and Mrs. Burl O'Quin, grand- daughters of Mary Ann Sandifer, and Mrs. Doris Green, great granddaughter. "This cemetery is fenced and in good condition. The graves marked * have headstones alike, and they are reported to have been placed there by Mary Ann Sandifer Lee,wife of Francis Marion Lee, the Confederate Soldier. Up until the time of her death in 1925, she had this cemetery cared for. She is buried in Magnolia, Miss. by her youngest son, Joseph E. Lee. Some of the early dates appear to be approximate, but she wanted to leave for future generations a record of her family, and knowing her as we did, the death dates won't be far off.
