Bateman, to Sadie Sylvest in the late fall. -- Billie Harold Simmons, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hulon Simmons of Port Arthur, Tx., died January 22nd. The remains were brought back to Enon for burial. -- W.H. Causey of Liberty, Miss., aged father of Dr. E.M. Causey, died at his home Tuesday. -- Myrtle Lee Duncan, 5 year old daughter of Mrs. John Duncan and the late John Duncan, who died a few weeks ago, died on January 22nd. Mrs. Holmes was the mother of 5 children, 2 deceased, 3 grown, J.H. of El Paso, Tx., and 2 daughters, Mrs. G.A. Draper of Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. B.E. Bickham of this place, and by 6 grandchildren and 2 aged sisters. Interment was the Tylertown in the Holmes cemetery by her husband, who died 15 years ago, and by her 2 young sons. -- Mrs. Sarah Ellzey Ott, died Wednesday in Mt. Hermon. She was born and reared in Pike County and married in 1874 to William W. Ott and had 9 children, 5 surviving, James M. of Mt. Hermon; Mrs. A.E. Fortenberry, Bogalusa; W.E., Mrs. J.E. Fortenberry, Mrs. J.E. Hyatt of Ponchatoula. She was 75 years, 5 months, and 13 days old. Burial was in the Silver Springs Church cemetery. -- Mrs. J.W. Interment in the Stevens cemetery in the 1st Ward. -- 10-22-1931 Robert (Bob) Miller died in Doyle, La. Last Monday. The remains were brought back and interment was in the family cemetery. He married thrice, first to Jane Miller and had 13 children, 7 surviving; second to Rosa Morris and had 2 daughters; third to Mrs. Cora Martin and had no children. -- Dr. and Mrs. J.C. Denman were called to Auburn, Miss., Monday by the death of Dr. Denman's brother-in- law, J.W. Williams. Williams died at his home Friday w as laid to rest at Lees Creek Cemetery.
