She was the daughter of the late Elisha Brumfield near Tylertown. Survivors are her husband and daughter, 5 sisters, Mesdames R.M. Alford, died. She was formerly, Miss Mary Parker, born and reared in Tangipahoa Parish and was married two times. Her first marriage to Levy Painter and had 3 children, Mrs. Maude Alford of Mt. Hermon, Mrs. Louella Tynes of Angie, and Steve Painter of New Orleans; after her first husband died, she married Jesse L. Alford and had 1 son, Willie Alford of Bogalusa. She was 77 years old. Interment was in the Mt. Hermon cemetery. -- 01-28-1937 The 7 year old son, William (Billy) Schilling, of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Schilling of Mt. Hermon, died Saturday in New Orleans. Interment was in the Mt. Hermon cemetery. -- William Monroe Self, died at Independence January 22nd, he was born 7-17-1877. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lama Ott Self, 4 boys, 2 girls. Interment was in Mt. Hermon cemetery. -- Frank Lee died yesterday near Tylertown. He was a brother-in-law of Willie Simmons of Mt. Hermon. -- Married, Jasper S. "Mack" McQueen, age 49 years and 7 days, died last Thursday. Interment in the Ellis cemetery. He was born and reared in New Orleans, coming to Franklinton about 10 years ago. Four years ago he married Maude Futch of Tylertown. Survivors are his wife, 3 brothers, Rev. J.C. McQueen of Hattiesburg, Rev. Fred A. McQueen of St. Louis, Joe McQueen of New Orleans, 5 sisters, Mesdames, Crowell, Operkuch, Estell, Thomas, and Grillo, all of New Orleans. -- Ovillin Green, a Negro, was shot to death Saturday by Catherine Robinson in Bogalusa. -- Mrs. Ina Fussell Perry, wife of Hosea Perry, died in Enon on April 2nd at the age of 44 years, 6 months, and 4 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Fussell, and married her husband 28 years ago. They had 8 children. Survivors are her husband and children, parents, 10 brothers and sisters. -- Mr. Bovey Moore died Monday of last week, at the age of 80 years. Interment was in the Magee cemetery. -- Born to Mr. and Mrs. Bose Miller on Tuesday, a boy. -- Labe Miller died at Spring Creek in Tangipahoa Parish on April 5th. Interment was in Mt. Hermon cemetery. Burris, to Lamar M. Richardson. -- Miss Josie Newman of Bogalusa, sister of H. Newman, died in Bogalusa Monday. She was 24 years of age, and the daughter of Joe Newman of Bogalusa. Funeral services were held in Kentwood. -- Mrs. Willie Busby of Spring Hill died on June 20th at the age of 64 years. Interment was in the Spring Hill cemetery. Survivors are her husband, 10 children, 17 grandchildren, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and a half sister. -- Frank M. Breland of the 9th ward, died on June 17th, at the age of 75 years. Interment was in the Beulah cemetery. Survivors are 6 children, E.F. Breland of this town, being a son. -- Born to Mr. and Mrs. Gordon W. Weakley on Monday, a 7 1/2 pound son.
