She leaves to cherish her memories six daughters, Janice Robinson, Alfreda Harris, Juanita (Freddie) Johnson, all of McComb, MS, Annie (Marvin) Hughes, and Helen and Mary Robinson, all of Bogalusa; five sons, Wilton (Mary) Baker, Will Robinson Jr., Albert Robinson, all of Bogalusa, Joseph Robinson of McComb, and Prentiss (Lisa) Robinson of Sacramento, CA; 25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Emma Walls of Kentwood; a son-in-law, Luther Harris of Bogalusa; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and five special friends, Betty Harrison, Lena McKenzie, both of Bogalusa, Angela Peters, and Rocky Owens, both of Varnado, and James Daniel of McComb. Preceding her in death was her husband, Will Robinson Sr.; her parents, Annie Powell and Archie Baker; two sisters, Henrene Weary and Jessie Lee Douglas, both former residents of Bogalusa; three brothers-in-law, Joe Walls, William Weary, and David Douglas; two great-grandchildren, Brittany and Ka'Darius Baker; three nephews, Johnny Lee Weary, Willie Douglas, and Arthur Francis Sr.; and two great-nieces. Visitation will be held today at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 4-7 p.m. with a family hour from 7-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held tomorrow at Sweet Beulah Baptist Church in Bogalusa at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Magee officiating. Interment will follow in the Bogalusa Cemetery. Emma Loleta Stogner Kennedy (Died June 20, 2003) FRANKLINTON n Emma Loleta Stogner Kennedy, 74, a resident of Stateline, died at 11 a.m. Friday in Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Stateline Missionary Baptist Church and a devoted wife and mother of 55 years. Survivors include her husband, J.Y. Kennedy of Stateline; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Bobby Joe and Kathy Kennedy, James O'Neil Kennedy, all of Bogalusa, and John Benjamin Kennedy of Stateline; a sister, Lucille Stogner Spoons of Bellville, OH; grandchildren, Russell and Tiffany Kennedy, and Laikin Hill; a great-grandchild, Kailey Alexis Kennedy; a sister-in-law, Sue Merritt Stogner of Bogalusa; a niece and her spouse, Elaine and Pat Smith of Stateline and a nephew and his spouse, Darrel and Veona Crain of Stateline. Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Emma Stogner; four sisters, Hezzie S. Vince, Gladys S. Myers, Quida S. Boyles, and Myrtle Lee S. Pace; and six brothers, Lawrence Stogner, Marshall Stogner, Jewel Ray Stogner, Buel Ansel Stogner, Robbin Stogner and Sedgie Stogner. Visitation was held yesterday at Crain Funeral Home from 5-10 p.m. and will continue today at Stateline Missionary Baptist Church after 1 p.m. until the funeral service at the church at 4:30 p.m. Elds. Billy Ray Hines, Ben Whatley and Lockte Tynes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Seal Cemetery in Stateline. Edith Duncan Brooks (Died June 19, 2003) FRANKLINTON n Edith Duncan Brooks, 52, a resident of Franklinton, died at 10 a.m. yesterday in her home. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Lora Brooks of Franklinton; a daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Brad Ledet of Mandeville; two grandsons, Ryan and Justin Payne of Franklinton; six brothers, Monroe Duncan, Clevie Duncan, both of Mt. Hermon, Tommy Duncan of Jackson, Jerry Duncan of Enon, Jordan Duncan of Jasper, AR, and Robert Duncan of Bogalusa; two sisters, Molly Ladner of Pine and Lavenia Lilly of Mt. Hermon; and her step-father, Robert Miller of Mt. Hermon. Preceding her in death were her parents, Elmer and Lona Slaven Duncan; and two brothers, Woodrow Duncan and Elwood Duncan. Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home from 5-10 p.m. tomorrow and will continue after 10 a.m. Sunday until time of the funeral service, to be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Maples Cemetery in Mt. Hermon. Carrie Pearl Crutchfield (Died June 16, 2003) BOGALUSA n Carrie Pearl Crutchfield, 50, a resident of Highland Apartments in Bogalusa, died Monday in her home. She is survived by her mother, Wessie Mae Crutchfield of Bogalusa; a son, Kevin Crutchfield Sr. of Bogalusa; a daughter, Christian Crutchfield of Bogalusa; a brother, Cleo Crutchfield Jr. of Bogalusa; six grandchildren, Jasmine Manning, Joseph Crutchfield, Kevin Crutchfield Jr., all of Bogalusa, Wessie Nelson of Baton Rouge, Cleo Wesley Crutchfield, and Carrie Christian Crutchfield, both of Bogalusa; and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death was her father, Cleo "Jack" Crutchfield Sr. Visitation will be held Sunday at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa from 3-6 p.m. with a family hour following from 6-7 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Monday with minister Zorronn Sartin officiating. Interment will follow in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
