Joy L. Davis Seals
(Died May 11, 2003)
NEW ORLEANS n Joy L. Davis Seals, 50, a resident of Kentwood, died at 
3:10 a.m. yesterday in Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans. She was a 
member of Sunlight Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Travis Seals of Kentwood; two
sons and a daughter-in-law, Jason and Keisha Seals, and Eric Seals, 
all of Kentwood; a granddaughter, Lauren Seals of Kentwood; her mother, 
Mary Lee Davis of Franklinton; two brothers, Scott Davis of Kentwood, 
Roy Davis of Franklinton; and two sisters, Judy Simmons, and Rosemary
Varnado, both of Franklinton.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.M. Davis; and a brother,
Michael Davis.
Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home from 5-10 p.m. today and
will continue after 9 a.m. tomorrow until the chapel funeral service 
at 1 p.m. The Revs. Charles Abbey, Sammy Smith and Cecil Burch will 
officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Sunlight Baptist 
Church Cemetery.

in Franklinton, died Friday in Riverside Medical Center.
