Burch (Died May 17, 2003) FRANKLINTON - Dorman P. Burch, 81, a resident of Franklinton, died at 6:05 a.m. yesterday in Franklinton. He was the owner-operator of Burch's Amoco for many years and also served on the Franklinton Town Council for three terms. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Stafford Burch of Franklinton; two daughters and a son-in- law, Brenda B. and Chip Burris of Tylertown, MS, and Sandra B. Bennett of Franklinton; and four grandchildren, Bridget Burris, Brandi Burris, Candace Fontenot and Carson Fontenot. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. today and tomorrow from 8 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Revs. Larry Stafford and Lyndle Bullard will officiate and burial will follow in Ellis Cemetery. Dalton Ross Jenkins (Died May 16, 2003) FOLSOM - Dalton Ross Jenkins, 47, a retired lumberjack, died Friday at his home from complications from Multiple Sclerosis. A life-long resident of Folsom, he was the son of Huey L. Jenkins Sr. and Lucie Monlezun Jenkins. Survivors include a sister and brother, Constance Jenkins Tyler and Huey L. Jenkins Jr. of Folsom; a sister-in-law, Suzanne M. Jenkins of Folsom; nieces and nephews, Cheryl Tyler Isom, Jessica Jenkins Brewster, Lauren Jenkins, Ryan Tyler, Ryan Adams, A.J. Adams, Trey Jenkins and Ross Jenkins; aunts and uncles, Dorothy Jenkins, Willow and Dolores Monlezun Schech, Beverly Monlezun Richardson, T.J. Monlezun Jr., Zelda Monlezun, Roger L. Monlezun Sr., Jane Monlezun, Robert C. Monlezun Sr. and Rufin Duet. He was preceded in death by aunts and uncles, Ruth Ellen Monlezun Duet and Reid Richardson Sr.; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Monlezun Sr. Avisitation will be today at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in Covingtin from 6-9 p.m. and tomorrow from 9 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in New Hope Church Cemetery north of Folsom. Jones, 80, died yesterday at his residence in Bogalusa. A native of McComb, MS, and life-long resident of Bogalusa, he attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, was retired from Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill and was a member of Pine Masonic Lodge No. 264 F&AM. He is survived by five sons, Gary L. Jones and his wife, Carolyn of Bush, Larry G. Jones of Portland, OR, Charles E. Jones of Houston, Texas, Keith B. Jones and his wife, Barbara of Thomas and Michael A. Jones and his wife, Tina, also of Thomas; three daughters, Shelia K. Gaines and her husband, Wayne of Thomas, Cheryl E. McLaurin and husband , Carter of Franklinton and Eunice I. Jones of Franklinton; three brothers, Doyle E. Jones of Houston, Edwin W. Jones of Goodbee and Clayton T. Jones of California; a sister, Willona Rushing of Laurel, MS; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis A. Jones and Leona Yates Jones; a son, Stephen W. Jones; and two brothers, Robert M. and Gene R. Jones. Kelly Towana Baltimore Wood (Died May 15, 2003) FRANKLINTON - Kelly Towana Baltimore Wood, 39, a resident of Franklinton died at 2 p.m. Thursday at her home. She was the owner- operator of Almost New Clothes in Franklinton and was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Timothy Wood of Franklinton; two daughters, Heather and Christi Wood, both of Franklinton; her father, Woodie Baltimore of Baytown, Texas; a brother, Alan Baltimore of Poplarville, MS; a sister, Shelly Hudson of Covington; a granddaughter, Jordan Arguelles of Franklinton; and two grandmothers, Hazel Baltimore of Tullahoma, TN, and Lucille Pledger of Mooresboro, NC. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Soileau. Visitation was held at Crain Funeral Home from 5-10 p.m. yesterday and will continue today from 9 a.m. until the chapel funeral service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Thomas Austin Wood (Died May 15, 2003) FRANKLINTON - Thomas Austin Wood, 46, a resident of Franklinton died at 2 p.m. Thursday. He was a welder and a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church. He is survived by Timothy Wood of Franklinton; two daughters, Heather and Christi Wood, both of Franklinton; his parents, Richard and Penichon Wood of Franklinton; a brother, Ben Wood, also of Franklinton; and a granddaughter, Jordan Arguelles of Franklinton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Wood; and his grandparents, Austin and Minnie Wood and Wesley and Evelyn Duncan. Visitation was held at Crain Funeral Home yesterday from 5-10 p.m. and will continue today from 9 a.m. until the chapel funeral service at 4:30 p.m. The Rev. Denny Brumfield will officiate and burial will follow in the Wood Family Cemetery. Willie Lois Jefferson (Died May 17, 2003) ANGIE - Willie Lois Jefferson, 70, a resident of Military Road in Angie, died yesterday at her home.
