Cheri Rochester Gulsby, 43, a resident of the sunlight Community of Franklinton, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2003 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. She was an employee of Winn Dixie in Franklinton and a member of Sunlight Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Dewayne Gulsby of Franklinton; a son Dakota Keith Gulsby of Franklinton,; her mother, Evelyn H. Rochester of Franklinton; a brother, John U. Rochester III of Franklinton; a sister, Farah Thigpen of Franklinton; also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John U. Rochester, Jr.; two brothers, David Wayne Rochester and Keith M. Rochester; her grandparents, Ila N. and Lutie Seal Hennesy and John U. Sr. and Dorthy B. Rochester. Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 9 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sammy Smith and Rev. Larry Jenkins officiating. Pallbearers were Clinton Rochester, Johnny Rochester, Randy Melvin, Sammy Gulsby, James Gulsby and Michael Gulsby. Interment was in the Sunlight Baptist Church Cemetery. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Era-Leader, Franklinton, LA 04-16-2003 Ola Mae Hickman Reviere, Franklinton Ola Mae Hickman Reviere, 89, a resident of Franklinton, died at 12:10 P.M. Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at Forest Manor Nursing Home Covington. She was a member of Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church. She is survived by two sons, Bill Reviere of Covington and Johnny Reviere of Bemidji, MN; two daughters, Eloise Jarrell of Melville, LA and Nell Loyd of Covington; a brother Murphy Hickman of Franklinton; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Reviere; a daughter, Geraldine Sharp; and two sons, Jimmy Reviere and Roger Reviere. Visitation was at the Crain Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. A funeral services was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Leon Hickman officiating. Pallbearers were Kerry Loyd, Randy Reviere, Danny Jarrell, Jeff Sharp, Tony Reviere and Clint Maturin. Interment was in the Tyson Cemetery. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Era-Leader, Franklinton, LA 04-16-2003 Elsie Jones Ryley, Enon Elsie Jones Ryley, 95, a native of Enon and former resident of Florida, died Friday, April 11, 2003 at the Riverside Medical Center. She was a resident of Good Samaritan in Franklinton. She was a retired dental assistant. She is survived by a sister, Catherine Jones Corkern of Enon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Emile F. and Leota Mizell Jones; two brothers, Glenn Jones and Dilton Jones; and a sister Olive Jo Jones Ohrbert. A memorial graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13 at the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Hermon Jerry Wayne Morris, 51, a resident of Mt. Hermon, died at 3:40 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2003 at Lallie Kemp Hospital in Independence. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Morris of Mt. Hermon; two sisters, Bonnie Rodriquez of Garland, TX and Vickie DeCarlo of Mt. Hermon; a brother, Tillis Morris, Sr., of Tylertown; and numerous nieces, nephews, close friends and relatives in the Mt. Hermon area. He was preceded in death by his father, Huey Morris and a brother, David Morris. Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2003 in the funeral home chapel with Eld. Clyde Cooper officiating. Pallbearers were Brent Dillon, Ronald Morris, Craig Stafford, James Crain, Wayne Mizell and Wayne DeCarlo. Interment was in the Seab Morris Cemetery.
