Jr. Boyette was the son of Henry James Ervin Boyette and Nanny Lee Boyette. He worked for Johns Manville and retired as captain from the Natchez Police Department. He was a baseball coach for the City of Natchez Recreational League, an avid hunter, gardener and baseball fan and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Mamie Bernice Boyette of Franklinton; a son and daughter-in-law, James H. and Annie Boyette of Lake Charles; one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Ann and Raymond Myers, Sr. of Franklinton; six grandsons; eight great-grandsons and two great- granddaughters; special in-laws, Jack and Maedell McCall of Natchez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral servies were held at 2 pm Friday, November 14, 2003 at Laird Funeral Home in Natchez with Reverend Patrick Miller officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery in Natchez. Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton assisted with arrangements. Pallbearers were his grandsons, Raymond, Ronnie and Randy Myers and Kevin, David and Ben Boyette. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Hubert M. Graham, Mt. Hermon Hubert M. Graham, 84, a resident of Mt. Hermon, died at 8:45 pm Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at St Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. He was a US Army veteran of WWII serving in the Asiatic and Pacific Theater and a member of Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a retired dairyman. He is survived by his wife, Novie James Graham of Mt. Hermon; a son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Rosemary Graham of Mt. Hermon; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and Henry Gasquet of Walker, Jeanie and Howard Gauthreaux of Thibodaux and Janet and Barry Tisdale of Jackson, MS; ten grandchildren, Mindy C. Dorough, Kristy C. Bennett, Brandley Crain, Stephanie G. Morvant, Trevor Gauthreaux, Sharon G. Phillips, Brent Graham, Ryan Graham, Amanda Tisdale and Andrew Tisdale; two step-grandchildren, Scott Gasquet and Anthony Gasquet; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home from 5 pm until 9 pm Friday and after 9 am Saturday. A funeral service was held at 11 am Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Eld. Brent King, Eld. Billy M. Lowery, and Eld. Don McDaniel officiating. Burial followed in the Kamp Grand Cemetery at Mt. Hermon. Pallbearers were Bradley Crain, Trevor Gauthreaux, Brent Graham, Ryan Graham, Andrew Tisdale and Jason Phillips. Honorary pallbearers were Danny Bond, Alvin Graham, James Bankston, Scott Moak, Michael Dorough, Kayne Morvant and DeWayne Bennett. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Louise Graves Alford, Bogalusa Louise Graves Alford, 67, a resident of Bogalusa, died at 11:45 pm Friday, November 14, 2003 at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton. She was a retired beautician and member of Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church. She is survived by a brother, Eld, Homer Graves of Pine; nieces and their spouses, Marie and Mitch Kilgore, Marietta and Randy Thomas, all of Pine, and Ann and Ken Knight of Franklinton; a nephew, Dale Graves of Pine; also several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Bertie Temples Graves and a sister-in-law, Ruthie Mae Graves. Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home Sunday from 1 pm until 2:30 pm at the Harmony Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Eld. Ben Whatley officiating. Pallbearers were Mitch Kilgore, Ken Knight, Randy Thomas, Dale Graves, Marietta Thomas, Marie Kilgore and Ann Knight. # # #
