He was born on Sept. 6, 1905 in Isabel. He was survived by his wife, Frances Baham Adams, 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 10 siblings. He was preceded in death by two of his sons, Lawrence Adams and Larry Adams, three of his sisters, and four of his brothers. Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, Bogalusa. Interment with Masonic rites followed in the Adams Cemetery, Isabel. Additional Comments: Son of Daniel Wilkerson Adams and Malethia Mizell Adams of Isabel (married Jun. 1, 1901 and buried in Adams Cemetery). He was the eldest of Daniel Wilkerson Adams’s 18 children. He attended Isabel School (on the site of the current Isabel Baptist Church) in the early 1900s. He married Alice Glass in 1928. They had 4 children before divorcing. He married Frances Baham Adams of Tickfaw La on June 17, 1946. They had 2 additional children. He was a charter member of True Light Missionary Baptist Church, a member of Zona Masonic Lodge at Enon, and a retired gravel pit operator.
