Mr. Clifford Alford, 78, a resident of Mr. Hermon died at 2 a.m. Wednesday,  
April 23 at Riverside Medical Center. He was a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist 
Church and a retired maintenance man  with the Washington Parish School Board 
Office.  

His wife, Elouise Miller Alford of Mr. Hermon; one daughter Vicki Alford Crain  
of Mr. Hermon; one son, Ronald Alford of Kentwood; and two grandsons, Joshua  
and Jimmy Crain, survive him.  

Visitation was held at the Crain Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.  
Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday.  

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24 at Bogue Chitto  
Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Andy Delancy officiating.  

Pallbearers for the service were Billy Barber, Jake Penny, Ronald Morris,  
Virgil Maples, DeShea Miller, and Freddie Jefferson.
