Care N/H in McComb, MS. She was a retired storeowner and an active member of Silver Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Bond is survived by one son, Rev. Donnie Bond of Vienna, Austria and a daughter-in-law, Dimple Bond; two daughters, Glinda Blades of Osyka, MS, Juanita Schilling of McComb, MS and a son-in-law Ronnie Blades of Ssyka; three brothers, H. Alton Smith of McComb, MS, L.P. Smith of Cedar Hill, and Hugh Smith of Petal, MS; two sisters, Jessie Tate and Beth Kriby both of Monroe; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and one step-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest J. Bond; one daughter, Bobbette Bond; one son, Luther Gerald Bond; one son-in-law, Rev. H. Glen Schilling; one grandson, Ronnie Glen Schilling; one step-granddaughter, Lisa Blades; and three sisters, Retha Bond, Doris McGeHee, and Edna Jones. Visitation was held Monday at Hartman Funeral Home in McComb from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Silver Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at the Church with Re. Byron Wilkinson and Re. Rick Kennedy officiating. Burial followed in Silver Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service were Mike Bond, Ryan bond, Ricky Nobles, Ray Taylor, John Nobles and James Jackson. Honorary pallbearers for the service were deacons of Silver Springs Baptist Church.
