Naomi Frances Breland
Naomi Frances Breland, 81, a resident of Mt. Hermon died at 2:43 p.m. Monday at 
her residence. She was a registered nurse and supervisor for Social Work for 
the Louisiana Department of Public Welfare. After retirement she continued the 
role of caretaker for her mother; her beloved animals and many people she loved 
in her community. She is survived by her sister, Cyndia Breland Burak of Mt. 
Hermon; one niece, Lois Burak of Philadelphia, PA; and one nephew, Jeff Burak of 
Philadelphia, PA. Her body was cremated. Crain Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements. It is the wish of the family of Naomi Breland that memorial donations 
be made to Hospice of St. Tammany, 1202 S. Tyler St., Covington, LA, 70433
