She was a resident of Heritage Manor Nursing Home and a former resident of Kentwood. She is survived by four daughters, Maxine (L.J.) Brumfield of Pensacola, FL, Erma (Charles) Carson and Minnie Marshall of Sunny Hill, and Audrey (Samuel) Taylor of Roseland, LA; six sons, Willie E. (Mattie) Brumfield and Loucis Charles (Lena) Brumfield of Kentwood, Oliver Earl (Dorothy) Brumfield of Sunny Hill, James E. (Clodean) Brumfield of Mt. Hermon, Delmas Brumfield and Gregory (Shelia) Brumfield of New Orleans; four sisters, Nezzie (Katherine) Lewis, A. J. (Revertia) Lewis, and Walter (Sally) Lewis all of Tylertown, James H. (Gladys) Lewis of Franklinton; forty-six grandchildren; sixty-eight great grandchildren; a special friend Linda Smith of New Orleans; a special nephew, Dock Butler of Mt. Hermon; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Visitation was held Monday, April 7 at Crain and Son Funeral Home in Franklinton from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. with a wake service following at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 8 at 1 p.m. at the church with Rev. Johnny Causey officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery.
