Thigpen, 73, died Saturday, a native of Nicholson, MS, McGehee cemetery, husband of Cassie Thigpen Hammond Cox, 20, son of Milton Cox of Henrietta, TX and nephew of Mrs. N. L. Creel of Bogalusa, was killed in an airplane crash in Mexico. C. Register, died Thursday at age 34. She came to Bogalusa with her husband from Nashville, GA. She was a native of Nashville, TN, survivors are her husband, parents - Mr. & Mrs. James M. Willis, 1 son, buried in Nashville, TN 9-27-1943 Fred Toney, murdered July 26th by Leo Bailey Andrew F. Wallace, 67, resident of Pearl River County, died in Poplarville, MS Wednesday. Buried Buck Branch Church cemetery, survivors are his widow, Mrs. S. J. Wallace, 4 daughters and 4 sons. Gordon Tyrone, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Tyrone was killed in an air raid over Mulheim, Germany on June 23. Anne Paulette Snowden, 36 hours, died Thursday, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Snowden, Ponemah cemetery 10-4-1943 Mary Mabel Sheridan, 43, died Saturday. Born in White Castle, LA, wife of W. J. Sheridan, Ponemah cemetery Joseph C. Williams, 23, soldier of Gloster, MS, was electrocuted in the Mississippi portal electric chair at Liberty, MS, Friday. The body was brought to R. C. Cook Funeral Home to be prepared for burial. He was then sent to Gloster, MS where interment took place. James H. Armour, father of W. R. Armour, died Thursday, he would have been 84 years of age on Oct. 10th. Born in Macon County, TN, husband of Martha Armour, Ponemah cemetery 10-11-1943 Charles Kennedy, former resident, died in Port Arthur, TX, last Wednesday. Interment in Pounds cemetery, he was 36. 10-18-1943 Conrad Hailparn of St. Louis, MO, general purchasing agent for Gaylor Container, died in St. Louis Sunday, Veteran of WWI. Eliza Thomas, 29, Pearline Thomas, 4, Jacqueline Thomas, 3, Doris Jean Thomas, 16 months, died Friday by fire. Father and husband is John Thomas of Bogalusa Sam Bruno, 73, died Sunday, he is survived by a widow and daughter, who resides in Chicago. 10-25-1943 Berkley M. McKenzie, 51, of State Line, died in New Orleans Saturday, Kennedy cemetery Martha Wood Burris, 65/69, died Thursday, Oct. 21, widow of late R. L. Burris, who died last year, Ellis cemetery 11-1-1943 Lieutenant Clifford L. Boyd of Henrietta, TX, was killed in action in Italy on Sept. 24. Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. V.
