She is survived by her husband, 5 sons & 4 daughters. Interment in the Bennett Cem. near Folsom. Brown FH in charge. Jones, Albert "Pinkie", age 29 of Jacksonville FL, instantly killed Thursday when a 30 foot steel column on which he was being hoisted to the top of the large water storage tank fell about 80 feet when the cable snapped. Survivors: his wife of Jacksonville FL, parents of South Carolina. Remains taken to Jacksonville FL for burial. G. F. Poole FH in charge. Kefferly, Lewis, age 76 of Pine, died Friday, Nov. 2nd at his home. Survivors: widow Mrs. L. Kefferly of Pine, 1 son of New Orleans & 1 daughter of Pine. Interment in Nobles Cem, Brown FH in charge. November 12, 1945 Erwin, Willie J., age 27 of the Stoney Point community, died Monday at Wash-St. Tammany hosp. Survivors: parents Mr/Mrs. James Erwin, 2 bros. Vernon & Henry, 1 sister Mrs. Odie Crowe. Interment in Stoney Point Cem, Poole-Simmons in charge. Hennesy, Levy, about age 42, died in Houston TX. He was a native of Franklinton, but lived in New Orleans & Houston for the past 20 yrs. He was the 1st cousin of J. L. Hennesy of St. John Street. Funeral held in Houston, interment in the Ellis Cem. with Poole-Simmons FH in charge. Pounds, Leon, age 40, died Nov. 11th at his home on Long Ave. Survivors: widow Mrs. Leon Pounds, 3 children, Betty, J.C. & Bessie Mae all of Bogalusa. Interment in Lee's Creek Cem, G. F. Poole FH in charge. Walker, Mrs. Rosa, age 30, of Varnado died Friday Nov. 9th, at ESM hosp. Survivors: husband Virgil Walker, mother Mrs. William Adams, Bogalusa, 2 bros. Jasper Adams, New Orleans & Joseph Adams, Bogalusa, 2 sisters Mrs. Ella Cothern & Mrs. Horace Mohorn of Bogalusa. Interment in the Varnado Cem, Brown FH in charge. November 19, 1945 Sutton, Mrs. John W., age 64 died Friday Nov. 16th at her home in Bogalusa. She was a native of New Orleans. Survivors: husband John W. Sutton, 1 son Chief Petty Officer John W. Sutton, Jr., Bogalusa, 3 daus. Mrs. Louis Maumus, Bay St. Louis, MS, Mrs. John L. Granberry, Baton Rouge, & Mrs. Herschel Corman, Catlin IL; 2 sisters Mrs. Creed Ford & Mrs. John Theode, 1 bro. Matt Capdeville all of Houston TX. Interment in the Hope Mausoleum in New Orleans. G. F. Poole FH in charge. November 26, 1945 Merhrhoff, Mrs. G. H., age79 died Friday of a heart attack. Born in Covington, she moved to this city in 1907& remained here until 1941, then made her home in New Orleans. She was the widow of the late George H. Mehrhoff & the only immediate survivor is 1 son Francis Mehrhoff of New Orleans. Interment was in the Covington Cem. Poole FH in charge. McMillan, Earl, age 25, Veteran of WW II, died Sunday at ESM hosp. of injuries sustained in a traffic accident 12 hrs. earlier. His brother Malcolm McMillan, a passenger sustained injuries but did not warrant hospitalization. The deceased was honorably discharges about 6 wks ago after serving 38 months overseas. Survivors: mother Mrs. Fannie McMillan of West Buffalo, 1 sister Mrs. Judson McGehee, Monroe, 4 bros. Malcolm & Jessie, both in the Navy, Doyle & James McMillan at home. Earl, is a nephew of C. L., Mike, & Hamp Lott. A 1st cousins of Wesley W. McGehee, Mrs. Robert Landry, J. D., Zeke & Judson McGehee. Arthur Duncan was a half-uncle of the deceased. Interment in the McGehee Cem. G. F. Poole in charge. Walters, Henry, age 51, died Sunday Nov. 25th at Touro Infirmary, New Orleans. Survivors: widow Mrs. Mary Walter, 3 sons Henry G. Jr., William E, & James H. Walters, 1 dau. Francis, all of Bogalusa. Interment in the Gann Cem. at Varnado, G. F. Poole FH in charge.
