The Era-Leader

Mr. Clyde M. Caughlin, 74, a native of LaCompte, LA and resident of  
Franklinton, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, at Lakeview Regional Medical  
Center in Covington.  

He was a retired superintendent with Reagan Equipment Company and a US Coast  
Guard Veteran of World War II.  

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette D. Caughlin of Franklinton; six sons,  
Duane Caughlin of Seattle, WS, Oderick Caughlin of Golden Meadow, Howard  
Caughlin of Belle Chase, Thyron Caughlin of Mr. Hermon, Auristille Caughlin of  
Wichita, KS, and Jinks Caughlin of Franklinton; two daughters, Deneen Caughlin  
and Mrs. Dennis (Eugenia) Caughlin Dykes, both of Franklinton; a brother,  
Albert Caughlin of LaCompte; and nine grandchildren.  

Visitation was at the Crain Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27th,  
until time for funeral services at 4 p.m. in the chapel with Rev Joey Miller  
officiating.  

Cremation followed.
