Crain Stephon T. Crain departed this life on May 1, 2000 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, Orleans, He was a member of Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness, USA where he served as a member of the Trustee board. Stephon was a man of many accomplishments: which include, President and General Manager of Crain & Sons Investments and Amusements Incorporated, President elect of the Association of Funeral Directors & Embalmers of the State of Louisiana, a member of the National Funeral Directors & Embalmers Association, member of the Washington Parish Chamber of Commerce, and the Zoning Committee for the Town of Franklinton. One of his proudest achievements was successfully preparing the grant for the Washington Parish Cattle Association which resulted in members acquiring cattle from the Federal government. He leaves to celebrate his life a loving wife Ellen Doretha B. Crain; three children, Jamaal, Breana, and Stephon Travon; his parents, Brisco and Neva Crain; brothers David Land and and Marshall Crain; sisters Patrice and Dueoan Crain as well as a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Arrangements for Stephon T. Crain will be held Friday May 5th at 12 p.m. at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness in Franklinton, LA. Lie-in-State will be held Thursday May 4th from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30pm at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, and from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Darrell John Danos Darrell John Danos, a native of New Orleans and a resident of the Enon Community near Franklinton, died Tuesday, May 2, of complications of heart disease. He was 50 years old and a retired marine mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Ramirez Danos; one son, John Danos; his mother, Viola Danos; three brothers, Ronald Danos, Kurt Danos and Gary Danos, all of Franklinton. Also, two stepsons, Robert Cox and Charles Cox of Metairie. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Danos. Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pallbearers were John Danos, Chalres Cox, Gary Danos, Ronald Danos, Chase Danos and Buddy Ruberts. Burial was in the Knight Memorial Garden in Enon.
