Beloved wife of Nead Tate, Jr. Mother of Hilda Triche, James Tate, Betty Tate, Cedric Tate, Carolyn Tate, Nead Tate III and Kathy Walker, Sister of Josephine Robinson, Anna Jackson and Bessie Mitchell, and William and Houston Bickham and the late Charles Bickham. Also survived by seven grandchildren, one step great grandchild, three sons-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Relative and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral service at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness, USA, 25333 Harvey Road, Franklinton, Louisiana 70438 on Wednesday, June 21, 2000 at 11 a.m. at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton. A wake service was held on Tuesday, June 20 at 8:30 p.m. at Second St. John Baptist Church in Avondale, Louisiana. Arrangements were made by Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bert Darwin Sharp Bert Darwin Sharp, age 70, and a resident of Franklinton, died at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at Riverside Medical Center. He was a building contractor. He was a member of Sunlight Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School teacher for many years and was also active on various church committees. He also served for many years in the Louisiana National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Dora Wallace Sharp of Franklinton; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Herbert Craig Sharp, Darwin Ray and Collette Sharp all of ranklinton; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynnette and Jamie Busby of Franklinton; three grandchildren, Chase, Tyler and Michael Busby; one brother, Dudley Earl Sharp of Pearl, MS; one sister, Melba Pittman of Jackson, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Edna Penny Sharp and a sister, Marguerite Sharp. Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 8:00 a.m. Thursday. A funeral service was held at the Crain Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Thursday. The Reverend David Womack and the Reverend Charles Abbey officiated. Pallbearers were Mike Wallace, Steve Wallace, Nathan Wallace, Jackie Wallace, James Harold Penny and Herbert Daughty. Burial was in the Sunlight Baptist Church Cemetery. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tillie Baker Angelo Tillie Baker Angelo, age 84, a longtime resident of Flannery Oaks Guest House in Baton Rouge died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 20 in Baton Rouge. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Franklinton and the widow of Victor Angelo. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Carlos Rabb of Baton Rouge; one son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Brenda Angelo of Franklinton; one step-daughter, Mary Lou Lutz of Houston; seven grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Larry Sheridan and three step-children, Frances Knight, Ella Campbell and Victor Logsdon. Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 21 from 9:30 a.m. until time for services at 2:00 p.m. in the Crain Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Karl Tingle officiated. Pallbearers were Jerry Warren, Richard Morgan, W.E. Knight, Darren Redfern, V.L. Bridges and Hunter Knight. Burial was in Ellis Cemetery in Franklinton. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mitchell Ray Price Mitchell Ray Price, age 20, died on Friday, June 16, 2000 at Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a native of New Orleans, a former resident of Franklinton and currently resided in Albuquerque. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Price of Franklinton, his father, Harrell Cutno of New Orleans, a stepfather, Paul Westbrook of Franklinton; his fiance’ Fiona (Pinky) Dixon of Albuquerque, and one son, Micthell Ray Price Jr. of Albuquerque. Also survived by his brothers, Kendall Price of Albuquerque, Lance Price of New Orleans and Christopher Price of Franklinton; three sisters, Jessica Price, Nikki Price and Shataria Price, all of Franklinton. Also survived by a maternal grandmother and grandfather, Mary and Hessie Nunnery of Franklinton; a sister-in-law, Rashida Price of Albuquerque; five aunts, Jacqueline Guichard of New Orleans, Eloise Yvette Bell of Dallas, Sheila Nunnery and Delisa Bell of Franklinton, and Angela Knatt of Loreaville, LA; two uncles, Willi Kevin Bell of South Korea and Mitchell Ray Wilson of Franklinton; two great- aunts, Frankie Lee of Franklinton and Burnell Wilson of Chicago; one great-uncle, Alton Wilson Jr., of Franklinton; a future mother-in-law, Juliana Valdez of Albuquerque; seven devoted cousins; seven special friends; and a host of loving relatives and devoted friends. Visitation was on Friday, June 23, at Crain and Son Funeral Home in Franklinton. A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 24 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Terrence August officiating. Interment was in Lear’s Hill Church Cemetery. Crain and Sons of Franklinton was in charge of all arrangements. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Elizabeth Ann Mylius Watts MD Elizabeth Ann Mylius Watts, MD, age 62, and a resident of Franklinton, died on June 21, 2000 at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton. She was a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical School Class of 1964. She is survived by her husband, Richard W. Watts of Franklinton; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Denise Greer and Patrick Stringley of Silver Springs, MD; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Warren Greer, MD and Arzu Haalipoglu Greer of Laplace; a grandson, Spencer Stringley; a sister, Barbara Mylius Reid of Gainsvelle, FL; and a brother, Charles Mylius of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Mylius. Visitation was held at Crain Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time for the funeral in the Crain Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers were A. Bensrieti, MD; Abron Magee, Bill McGehee, Lavern Meades, David Reehlmann and Joseph Ward, MD. Vicar Keith Hall officiated. Burial was in Ellis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Bogalusa. McKneely Funeral Home, Amite was in charge of the arrangements.
