Mrs. Magee, 67, died suddenly
Mrs. Fannie Magee, 67, died suddenly at her home of a heart attack Saturday 
about 6 p.m. She has been ill for about a year, but her death came suddenly.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the Clifton 
Baptist church. Interment was in Ellis Cemetery in Franklinton with Poole 
Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Magee is survived by her husband, F. M. Magee, three sons, Tate, Hubert 
and Thad Magee, all of Franklinton; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Levy, 
Mrs. Frank Robertson and Mrs. Brock Van Moore, all of New Orleans; two brothers 
Jim and Dan Bateman of Franklinton; and one sister, Mrs. W. E. Magee of 
Franklinton.
