Mr. J.D. Gill, 74, a resident of Mandeville died Monday, March 24 at his  
residence.  

Mr. Gill is survived by his wife, Carol S. Surratt Gill of Mandeville; one  
son, Jimmy D. Gill of Mandeville; one daughter, Gayle G. Sloan; two sisters,  
Ella Singltery of Pearl River and Eddia Ratcliff of Franklinton; and one  
grandchild.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Gus Gill; his mother, Sarah Harper  
Gill; three late brothers, Fred Gill, Ted Gill and Welton Gill all of  
Franklinton; and one sister May Billinger of Franklinton.  

Visitation was held E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc. Wednesday from 6 p.m.  
until 9 p.m.   

Funeral Services were held Thursday, March 27, at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home  
Chapel with Roy Pollina officiating.  

Burial followed in Mandeville Cemetery.
