Anderson Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o’clock for Pvt. James M. Anderson, 43, who was killed in Algiers Africa, on December 11, 1943, and whose body arrived here this morning on the Rebel. The body was met by Mayor Curt Siegelin, who places a wreath on the casket on behalf of the city, and by members of the American Legion. The funeral will be conducted by the American Legion, with the Rev. Charlie Webb as chaplain. Interment will be in the family plot at Ponemah Cemetery. Pvt. Anderson, who lived in Bogalusa until he entered service in the early part of the war was a brother of Mrs. H. S. Redmond of the city, R.L. Anderson of Corpus Christi, Tex., Clarence Anderson of Galveston, Tex., Mrs. Layden Smith of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. A.C. Shealy of Columbus, S.C., and Mrs. W. M. Waters of Grand Prairie, Tex
