Mr. Leroy “Uncle Monkey” Magee, 47, died May 15, at University Hospital in New 
Orleans.

He was a resident of Franklinton.

He is survived by his wife, Ester Magee of Franklinton; one daughter, Tracy 
Magee of Franklinton; one son, Fredrick “Fred” Magee of Franklinton; four 
sisters, Thelma Branch, Ella Mae Handy, Gloria Graves of Houston, TX and 
Rosemary Magee of New Orleans; one grandchild, Kyndrial J. Magee of 
Franklinton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held Tuesday, May 20 at Crain and Sons Funeral  Home in 
Franklinton from 3p.m. until 8 p.m. with family hour from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 21 at 1 p.m. at the Outreach Full 
Gospel Church with Pastor Wesley Jones officiating.

Burial followed in Sweet Home Cemetery.
