Joseph Dimitri May Sr aka Cool J was born on March 28, 1975 
in Bogalusa Louisiana to Elvin May Sr and Barbara Barnes, 
departed this life in an motorcycle accident on February 8, 
1997 at 2:30 p.m. in Bogalusa Louisiana. He is survived by 
a special friend Tashuna Jefferson and their son Joseph Dimitri 
May Jr. Also survived by his parents, brothers and sisters Tammy 
D May, Evelyn Dooley, Wandra N May, Valarie T Robinson, Alice M 
May, Kelvin May, andre Jones, Elvin May Jr, Walter Cotton, Perry 
Foster and Gerald A Jackson; aunts and uncles Elouise {Milton} 
Brown, Delores {Alvin} McCant, Jean Brumfield dyson, Sam Barnes 
Sr and Richard G Barns; grandparents Sam and Bertina Barnes; 
great grandparents John and Alma Moses.
