January 18th, Mr. Isaac Miley, 62 years old, died at his home 
near Varnado. He leaves a wife, 7 children, 36 grandchildren and 
1 great-grandchild. Internment was made in the Jarrell Cemetery.

Isaac Bacen Miley born July 1, 1863 and died January 18, 1926 and 
is buried in the Old Gerald Cemetery east of Pine. His was 
married to the former Rebecca Ann Stanford born April 6, 1892 and 
died December 11, 1935. Mr. Miley's father was Josiah Miley he 
was born on October 19, 1834 near Amite, Louisiana and died 
December 17, 1913 in the Mileytown area near Pine, Louisiana. His
grandfather was Joseph Miley born around 1779 in Ireland and 
migrated from South Carolina around 1812 and settled aboiut 5 
miles east of Amite. He passed away on July 20, 1834 and is 
buried in the Old Cooper Cemetery near Amite.
