She was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Bickham of Franklinton; two sons, Jason Bickham and Tommy Bickham, both of Franklinton; and three brothers, William Shoemaker of Tylertown, Albert Shoemaker of Baton Rouge, and Wayne Shoemaker of Franklinton. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nell Hall and Jane Smith. Archie Blackwell, Sr. (Died November 22, 1998) FRANKLINTON- Archie Blackwell, Sr., age 85, died Sunday morning at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond. A resident of the Wilmer community, he was a retired carpenter and painter and a member of the Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Lena Erwin Blackwell of Wilmer; one son, Archie Blackwell, Jr. of Amite; one daughter, Linda McDaniel of Wilmer; two sisters, Margaret McCracken of Riverside, CA, and Margie Sandifer of Ft. Worth, TX; and nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. James Arnold Ellis (Died November 18, 1998) NEW IBERIA - James Arnold Ellis, age 54, died Wednesday at Lafayette General Hospital. He was a resident of New Iberia and a former resident of Bogalusa. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Graves Ellis of New Iberia; one son, Jeffery Ellis of Fort Hood, Tx; three daughters, Rhonda Black of Bogalusa; Robin Fabien of New Iberia, Rebecca Romero of New Iberia; two brothers, Elmer Ellis of Bogalusa, and Tommy Ellis of New Iberia; four sisters, Lucille Carter of Bogalusa, Thelma Fussell of Gonzales, Margie Goss of Bogalusa, and Ruby Adams of Bogalusa; and eight grandchildren, Kaleb, Kody, Justin, Jake, Alexandra, Meaghen, Meagan, and Makenzy; and a host of nieces and nephews. A native of Philidelphia, MS and a resident of Bogalusa for the past 40 years, she was a longtime employee of Bogalusa Wal-Mart. She is survived by two daughters, Michelle (Billy) Davis of Crossroads, MS, and Monica Moore Glover of Bogalusa; one son, Michael Moore of Brookhaven, MS; one daughter in law, Lisa Moore; three brothers, Donnie (Vera) Phillips of Forest, MS, Johnny (Yvonne) Phillips of Forest, MS, and Buddy Phillips of Sebastopal, MS; five grandchildren, Tanner, Ashley, Amelia, Steven and Dustin.
