ZACHARY,    OPHELIA GIVENS
A homemaker and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 4 a.m. Monday, March
19, 2001, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home in Denham Springs. She was 104 and
a native of Washington Parish. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East,
11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m.
Wednesday.

Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday,
conducted by the Rev. Richard Holland and the Rev. Norris Lopez. Entombment
in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. Survived by five daughters, Rita
Zachary Bullock, Athalone Zachary Morrow, Eloise Zachary Keating, LaDonice
Zachary Wells and Jewette Zachary Ashford; four sons, Huston L. Zachary,
J.B. Zachary, Mack Zachary and Billy R. Zachary Sr.; 39 grandchildren; more
than90 great-grandchildren; and 49 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in
death by her husband, Reamey O. Zachary; a daughter, Margarite Zachary
Bergeron; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Roy Zachary, Bobby
Keating, Bryan Zachary, Mike Morrow, Steve Zachary and Russell Zachary. The
family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Harvest Manor
Nursing Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge, 9063 Siegen
