He is survived by his parents Hilton and Edgie Peters, Sr., of Varnado, LA; two sons, Brian Thomas of Bogalusa and Sharun Watson of New Brunswick, NJ; five sisters, Mary Etta Peters Cooper of Bogalusa, Jacqueline (James) Mosley, Patricia (James) Spears of Harrisburg, PA, Brendolyn Peters of New Brunswick, NJ, Inez Gholar of Somerset, NJ; three brothers, Larry Peters, of Baton Rouge, Freddie (Delores) Peters of Somerset, NJ, and Warren Hilton Peters of Bogalusa. Wake services were held at the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Monday May 12th from 7 p.m. until 9p.m. Funeral services were held at the New Zion Church on Tuesday, May 13 at 3:p.m. with Pastor Cotton officiating. Active pallbearers were Larry Peters, Freddie Peters, Warren Hilton Peters, Jr., Gregory Speights, James Spears, Linwood Blakney, John Arthur Franklin and Joseph Matthews. Honorary pallbearers were Joe L. Lewis, Claude Goach, Curtis Wells, Billy Wayne Mingo, Rufus Wells and Willie D. Wells.
