She was a resident of Franklinton. She is survived by her husband, Talmadge Reeves of Franklinton; three daughters, Marilyn “Sis” Payne of Los Angeles, CA, Kassundria Magee of New Orleans, and Phyllis Hayes of Vallejo, CA; three sons, Lenard “Boo” Reeves of Benton, WA, William “Grip” Reeves of Franklinton, and Romeo Reeves of Renton (sic), WA; three sisters, Oradee Johnson of Baton Rouge, Mattie Sherard of Columbia, SC, and Josephine Williams of New Orleans; four brothers, Rushell Crain of Franklinton, Reginald Crain of New Orleans, Brisco Crain of Franklinton, and McDonald Crain of Baton Rouge; ten grandchildren, Akira Magee, Jamel Magee, DeJonique Magee, Eben Payne, Barbara Reeves, Juawon Reeves, Jahoddie Reeves, Eric Hayes, Immanuel Hayes, and Ayanna Hayes; and in- laws, James Magee of New Orleans, Marilyn and Denise of Renton, Washington and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends. Visitation was held Saturday, November 13, 1999 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. with a family hour from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral servies were held Sunday, November 14, 1999 at Sweet Home Church of Christ Burial followed in Sweet Home Cemetery.
