He was a derrick hand for Pride Offshore in Houma. Mr. Stinson is survived by his mother and step-father, Doris and Richard Holmes of Franklinton; his father and step-mother, Ronald and Robin Stinson of Tylertown, MS; two brothers, Gary Thomas of Franklinton and Josh Stinson of Tylertown; a step-grandmother, Lucille Holmes of McComb; and a niece and nephew, Ashley Elizabeth and Robert Frazier Thomas. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Wilber and Emma Barber and Ruben Stinson. Visitation was held at the Crain Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. W.L. Tullos and Rev. Kenny Shepherd officiating. Burial followed in the Stateline United Pentecostal Church Cemetery near Tylertown.
