Turnage, 67, a resident of Franklinton died Tuesday, May 6 at the Riverside Medical Center. He was born July 10, 1929 in Walthall County, MS, the son of the late Marcus and Lucy Duncan Turnage. He was a dairy farmer and a member of the Thomas Baptist Church. Mr. Turnage is survived by his wife, Rena Mae Thomas Turnage of Franklinton; one son, Bruce Turnage of Franklinton; two daughters, Teresa Montgomery of Franklinton and Debra Jean Andrews of Tylertown; three brothers, N.G. Turnage and Ralph Earl Turnage both of Tylertown and Q.D. Turnage of Franklinton; one sister, Yvonne Thomas of Franklinton; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Leola Hayes, and Dora Barber. Visitation was held Wednesday, May 7, after 2 p.m. at the Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral services were held May 8, at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Harold Getty officiating. Burial followed in the Turnage Family Cemetery.
