Elder Luke Ezra Varnado Sr was born August 9, 1926 in 
franklinton Louisiana to the late Mason Varnado Sr and 
Mrs Fannie Varnado. He departed this life on October 23, 
1995 at the Charity Hospital in Bogalusa Louisiana at the 
age of 69. He is preceded in death by his father Mason 
Varnado Sr; a brother Joseph Varnado; 2 sons Luke E Varnado 
Jr and Antonio Varnado. He leaves to Cherish his memories, 
his second wife mrs Thadia H Varnado, his first wife Lucille 
Brumfield Varnado Weary; his mother Fannie Fortenberry Varnado; 
4 daughters Delores Varnado, Bobbie Beck, Dorothy Cox and 
Nercille Jefferson; 4 sons Emile, Lamar, Larry and Donald Ray 
Varnado; 2 son in laws Alvin E Beck and Eddie Jefferson; 1 sister 
Irene Dillon; 2 brothers Mason Jr and Charlie Varnado; a special 
grandson and his wife Alvin D Beck and Dee Brunner Beck;  also 
survived by 28 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host 
of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 
Interment in Sweet Rest Cemetery, franklinton Louisiana.
