James F. Walters Succumbs Nov. 15, 1974  
 
 
 Death came to former resident of Route 4 Franklinton, eighty four James
 Felder Walters, at seven thirty o'clock Friday evening, November fifteenth
 while he was domiciled at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Bogalusa.
 Survivors include one sister, Mrs. George Folkes of Kaufman, Texas, numerous
 nieces and nephews.
 The body lay in state in Franklinton at Poole's Funeral Home, where final
 rites were conducted from the chapel at three o'clock Sunrday afternoon,
 November seventeenth followed by interment in the Bethel Cemetery.
 Rev. Ron Guy and Rev. Eugene Bess were officiating clergy for the religious
 rites and pallbearers were Ashley Stringfield, Bob Walters, Gerald Welch,
 Charlie Creel, Kenneth Creel, and Walter O'Bryant.
