To Hon. F. N R Adams J.P.

You are hereby authorized and empowered to unite in Holy Wedlock 
Mr. James Madison Newman and
Miss Mary Tullos

and when you have done so, return duplicate thereof within thirty days to this 
office as the law directs.

Given under my hand officially, this 23 day of December 1904
