He was 81. Mr. Coburn had been a Doyline resident for the past 20 years. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Emmanual Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. in the Emmanual Missionary Church with Rev. Earhart officiating. Burial was in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery under the direction of Minden Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Leetha Coburn of Doyline, three sons, James Ray Coburn of Tucson, Arizona, Reginald Harris Coburn of Keithville, and Clarence Coburn Jr. of Bossier; two daughters, Etta Marie Slack of Hosston, Chloe Mae McCrary of Sibley; one sister, Berta Mae Butler of Minden; two brothers, Bill Coburn and Paul Benny Coburn, both of West Monroe; 16 grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
